You all just sit around and "refresh" all day, eh?! I know some of the views are from Nana! I called her today and she didn't answer with "hello!". She answered with "HOW IS KEVIN?!?!?!?" in her angry/anxious Nana voice! She had read the blog! She told me she goes into the office every morning and checks it! Impressive. Damn impressive. We have food pics, they are on the small camera though...they'll be coming eventually. Important update: The Viennetta was a bit freezer burned! Bummer. Glad you could get caught up! We wondered if Shelly was giving you any screen time or if it was simply a "play by play" from the computer seat?! She cracks us up!!! The gargoyles are on the churches for two reasons: 1. They scare off evil spirits. 2. They are drain spouts, so when it rains water comes rushing out of their mouths (can't really have angels spewing water...though I guess you could call it holy water?!). The foot picture...if that is YOUR ancestor...then something went terribly wrong somewhere along the way! ;) We didn't really have much wine in France. We tasted some in Beaune, had a fabulous dinner with some red wine, but then...well...it was all downhill from there! I'd say, after tasting in Beaune, we're pretty spoiled out there in Napa county. Nicholson Ranch on your way into Sonoma from Sac is still my favorite I think. You should take a ride out there with Shelly...it is delicious! Maybe we'll meet you there when we get home!
