Hiya!

Hello everyone!

I was just taking some time to reply to comments (my 10pm nap has screwed up my sleep schedule a bit for the night…a bad thing for me…possibly a good thing for you!) and thought I’d do a little blog post of my own!

First of all I must thank Lightning for picking up our slack during Kevin’s bout of Montezumas. You are a true friend, and I am impressed with your ability to obtain photos we haven’t even posted yet! You really do work for the government, don’t you?!

For those of you that haven’t got a clue what I’m talking about check out: http://www.jordangoesblogging.blogspot.com

Today was an amazing day! If Kevin had to pick a day to be sick, yesterday was the right choice. I know he summed it all up in his blog so I won’t go into too many details other than to say I FREAKIN’ LOVE SWITZERLAND! Today was the first day that I was truly sad that you all weren’t here with us to experience this because I know there is just no way that words or photos can do this place justice. It is quaint, charming and majestic all at the same time. Absolutely astonishing and easily my favorite place yet! Possibly my favorite place on earth (if they could throw in a nice sandy beach somewhere down the street it would be a hands down winner!).

I overcame my fear of big-ass scary gondolas today. It wasn’t fun, or easy, but I did it! And I’m definitely glad I did! And just as I was feeling brave we came across the “cave elevator”. Ick. I didn’t want to do that either, but I sucked it up and again, I was glad I did! Kevin alluded to the fact that I should have sucked it up sooner in Paris and Lodnon, but I realized today that I’m not willing to do the scary stuff to see things that people have built (Eiffel Tower, St. Pauls, Etc)…but to do the scary stuff to see the wonders of nature…totally worth it! There is no other way to see this stuff. It is just amazing! My wish for you all is that you get to travel to Switzerland!

I’m sad to be leaving our little hotel in the valley but am also really looking forward to Austria! It has been #1 on my list this entire time so I can’t wait to see where it ranks in comparison to my new love, Switzerland.

I think I’ll wrap up my blog with a few shout-outs. I’ve been meaning to do these but never seem to find the time! Until next time, gutten-something! (We haven’t had time to learn the language here yet!).

Nana, if you’re reading this, I’m so proud of you for being able to do so! Pretty damn impressed actually! Keep it up! We love to know that you’re keeping up with us along our way! Xoxo!

Angela and Sam, THANKYOU for taking the little ones to spend some time with Nana yesterday. She really enjoyed having some young blood in the house. She told me there were cream puffs involved! (Does DC know you ate cream puffs without her?!?) And have you broken my computer yet Sam? ;) Can’t wait to see the result! Tell Syd and Owen that I miss the both! I guess I sorta miss you girls too! ;)

Shelly, wow. I am not sure what to say to you other than thank you for being such a loyal reader and commenter! We can always count on you…but we’re wondering…are D and the children totally on their own now that you’ve got a blog to read?! I hear you’re going to pull yourself away from the computer long enough to represent the Howe family at the Harvest Fair this weekend!?! Knock them dead! Sorry we’re missing it! Glad the kiddos love their card. Kiss the from auntie (not from uncle, he is sick!).

Mom and Dad, have a FABULOUS camping trip! We’ll be thinking of you over the weekend!!! Xox.

Auntie (don’t tell Shelly, but we think you might just be our #1 fan!).

Sharon, glad you’re reading still despite feeling so green! :) Our hotel room here in Switzerland reminds me of g-paws house! So so much! I think the curtains are EXACTLY the same!!!

Mom, glad you’re reading! Hope Mike is doing better!

Okay, I just got really sleepy again. Bus leaves in 6 hours, better get to bed soon!

Just so you all know, we can see your comments via Kevin’s iPhone during the day while we’re out and about, so even when we’re not posting or replying to them, we’re still reading them! We love seeing the “new comments” alert and usually stop whatever we’re doing to read them! (Lightning, we read your blog while waiting in line for the gondola today, I’m fairly sure the rest of the group now thinks I’m crazy because I was laughing like a lunatic while just standing in line!).

Hope you’re all doing well! Anyone that didn’t make it on the shout-out list…don’t worry…I’m thinking of you too!!! Xoxox. N.

Alright! So here is where I’m at…I was going to write about how absolutely proud I am of Nicole..because after seeing the pictures of the gondola…it is amazing that you did that…I don’t know if i could! And kevin thank you for getting her to do it and distracting her with pictures..becasue they are amazing! BUT BUT…. I don’t know if i should take it back because…i read your little note to Auntie…yes, that’s right, I did…and let me just tell you…I’m even talking about your trip over dinner each day…and after ranting and raving about the Alps to Darren and how it’s the most amazing place and we have to go there one day after hearing about your experience….I had to hear for the 1st time in almost 15 years with Darren…that he has been there…WTF!!!! i’m feeling left out in the cold here!!! I’m writing for like the 4th time today…checking in around the clock, keeping up with other bloggers…sending shout outs to new onlookers…and dying over EVERY PICTURE!!!! Not to mention…even was motivated to get my camera out….to capture my little life here in SR…..SO NEXT TIME you are thinking there is a #1…I’M RIGHT HERE!!!!!

Yay! New comment for you! I am on the ITouch, so it won’t be long… Thanks for the shout out! Made me smile. I hope Austria is as amazing as you hope it is. I loved the pics of the cows! And the waterfall caves reminded me of Thunder Mountain for some reason. Oh and the pic of all the chocolate, made my mouth water!! Yum. I miss you guys! Let me know if you would like any hockey updates while you are gone :) . Ha. Ok, enough for now. Typing on here takes me forever. Bye bye!

Is so nice to be #1. Switzerland sounds, and looks, fabulous! We are planning a little four day trip here in Utah and it sounds sort of boring when I read your blogs. I am quite jealous of the gondola ride. Uncle B. would have fussed about it, but WOW it must have been great. Since I am the recognized #1 fan, this might be a good time to ask a favor. If when you are in Dublin and you are in a pub that sells shirts, if they look good would you get one for Uncle Brian? Size XL. I will pay you when you get home. I should have sent money with you for it, but forgot.

Ok…my comments are getting as long as your blogs…better stop now. Love..
